This is by far I think my favorite project.  

On assignment as a photojournalist in Ann Arbor, MI,  I met several woman that worked in the Willow Run Bomber Plant during World War II.  I think you would be hard pressed to find someone in the United States that hasn't heard of "Rosie the Riveter" but the famous poster and iconography isn't as it seems.  This interactive project allows the viewer to navigate around or sit back and watch the show as the story unfolds.  It was very important to me to make sure these interviews were preserved and the origins of Rosie the Riveter be explored.  

I did everything on this from the back end build utilizing Klynt, the filming of interviews, the gathering of archival footage, the design work etc.  By clicking the photo above you will navigate to the external site I created for the project:  www.thelegacyofwillowrun.com
